Your cat isn’t just a pet - they’re family.

Leaving them in the hands of someone else can be stressful, especially if your cat is shy, older, or likes special attention.

You want to be sure that your cat is loved, safe, and comfortable while you’re away.

I’m Xand Griffin and I specialize in providing drop-in visits tailored to the unique needs of your cat.

I take care of everything - just like you would.

Are you worried?

You won’t get updates about your cat and feel disconnected?

Meet Your Catsitter 😻

Unlike many petsitters, I specialize in cats ONLY.

With 20+ years of cat care experience, fostering and rehoming 40+ cats, 6+ years cat grooming, volunteering at the Humane Society Cattery, and 3+ years professionally catsitting - I understand cat behavior!

I spend the time to understand exactly what you need for your cat with detailed instructions AND how your cat likes to be loved by reading their body language.

Worry no more - I got you!

Here’s how I create worry-free visits.

Personalized Care Plans: I follow every detail of your care routine, from feeding and playtime to medication administration. Nothing is too small, too specific, or too weird. Trust me, my cat has her own quirks!

Affectionate Visits: I make sure your cat isn’t just cared for but is also loved and comforted, especially if they’re shy or need extra time to warm up to new people.

Visit Updates with Photos & Videos: You’ll never feel disconnected from your cat. I send you an update at every visit so you know exactly how they’re doing, complete with pictures and occasional videos.

Home Care, Too: I’ll ensure everything is in order, from taking out trash to watering plants to bringing in the mail. This is a no judgement zone - don’t worry about cleaning up for me.

FAQs

  • I read cat body language to help my shy cat clients come out of their shells! I am as quiet as possible and let the cat approach at their own pace. I am Fear Free® Certified in their Core Modules, Cat Enrichment, and Housing & Environment.

One technique I use is to sit in the entryway for a few minutes, usually facing away from the cat. This causes them to be curious and helps them to understand that I am not a threat to them.

"Xand managed to get our extremely timid cat to come out of his shell and have fun! She played with them, gave them treats and gave them their own little vacation." - Louis and Henry's Cat Parent

  • I have a full checklist of things that I go through with you in 15 minutes during our meet and greet to make sure I'm taking care of your pet exactly the way you need!

The questions include everything from favorite toys to health conditions to house care so you don't have to worry while you are away.

If you have complicated instructions - no worries! I can stay up to 30 minutes if needed.

  • Tons! I’ve owned cats for 20+ years, I’ve catsit for friends, I’ve fostered over 30+ cats, and I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society in their cattery. I’ve been catsitting professionally for 2 years now but before this I groomed for 6+ years.

  • Yes, I remove my shoes to respect your home (always wearing clean socks). If you prefer my shoes stay on, just let me know!

  • $30 for a 30 minute visit. $45 for a 60 minute visit. I discount the additional time heavily because I know how important the extra time is to ease a cat dealing with a new person in their space.

There is a $10 per additional cat. $10 medication fee. And a $10 out of service fee for homes that are 8 miles+ from my location.

  • Yes! A close friend of mine fostered rabbits, so I have experience with bunnies and would love to take care of them for you.

  • Ewww… dogs? Just kidding, I have two dogs of my own. Although I love our canine friends, we do not offer sitting for them. I have great recommendations for local dogsitters though - please reach out!

First off, I'll make sure to grab your mail and any packages. Then, I'll carefully enter your house, treating it as if it were my own and taking off my shoes (unless requested otherwise).

Once inside, I'll check in with your cat and read their body language. If they are open to it, I'll shower them with love. If they are feeling shy, I'll motivate them with treats or play.

After, I'll make sure to serve up their favorite meals, give them their meds, and keep their water bowl fresh and clean. I scoop litter, take out trash, water plants, and anything else that will help keep your house running!

When it's time to say goodbye, I'll give your cat extra pets and affection before I carefully leave and lock up. You can relax knowing that your kitty is in the hands of someone who truly loves cats and carefully follows every instruction to ensure the best care.
